Prospectus is pleased to be supporting our client in the recruitment of an interim HR Manager – Employee Relations Specialist. This is an opportunity to step into a critical role during a period of transition, where you will make an immediate impact by strengthening ER practice and embedding robust, consistent processes. You’ll have real ownership, helping shape a fair, inclusive and well‑managed workplace.
You will manage a complex ER caseload while leading on implementing recommendations from a recent ER audit. Working in a small People Service team supporting around 260 staff, you will update key policies, improve the quality and consistency of casework, and enhance reporting and documentation. This role is focused on strengthening processes and compliance during a time of team change, bringing clarity, structure and confidence to ER delivery.
You have strong experience managing a broad range of ER casework, including complex and sensitive investigations. You are confident handling high‑risk issues, including potential discrimination cases, with sound judgement and a fair, balanced approach. You are highly organised and process‑driven, with experience updating policies and improving reporting and record‑keeping.
A strong communicator, you build trust quickly and can coach and influence managers effectively. You bring a collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset, act with integrity and discretion, and are committed to inclusion and employee wellbeing. CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is expected.
Hybrid working is offered, with a minimum of four days per month in the London office.
