Our client is a pioneering personal safety charity, specialising in providing advice, support and guidance to people who are currently experiencing or who have previously been affected by harassment and stalking.
For 40 years the organisation has worked to reduce the risk and prevalence of abuse, aggression and violence, empowering people to live safer lives.
They are now recruiting for an experienced senior leader within the VAWG sector to work as their new Head of Services Development, a pivotal role for the charity which will focus on strengthening, growing and developing their frontline services.
As Head of Service Development, you will work across the organisation to ensure that VAWG-related services have the funding, infrastructure, systems, partnerships and performance frameworks needed in order to deliver for victims and survivors.
You will help identify opportunities for growth, secure funding, mobilise new services and make sure that existing service provision continues to be high-quality, sustainable and responsive to need.
This is a senior, strategic role and whilst you won't directly manage frontline delivery, you’ll instead provide the strategic and operational oversight that enables services and senior service leads to succeed.
As Head of Service Development, you will have scope to shape services, develop new opportunities and help secure the funding that makes frontline support possible.
To apply for this role, you will have significant senior-level experience within the VAWG sector, with demonstrable experience of overseeing multiple services, contracts, grants or programmes, and a strong understanding of commissioning and procurement (particularly within the public sector).
You will bring significant experience of securing funding for frontline services, including writing bids, tenders and compelling multi-year proposals, and will have demonstrable experience of achieving KPIs to drive growth and development.
You will be a confident, credible relationship-builder, with significant experience of working with commissioners, funders and senior partners across the VAWG space.
Please initially apply with a Word-formatted version of your CV - applications will be considered on a rolling basis and the advert will close once a suitable candidate is identified.
