Our client provides excellent, personalised and compassionate end-of-life care for people living in Swindon, Marlborough and northeast Wiltshire. They work in close partnership with other organisations specifically local health and social care professionals as well as local people. This community work allows them to influence care so that anyone affected by a life-limiting illness has access to the best possible support when and wherever they need it.
This role will lead the hospice's Relationship Fundraising strategy, overseeing a team responsible for generating over £1 million annually through philanthropy, partnerships, and community fundraising. Key areas include trusts and foundations, corporates, major donors, and community engagement, including flagship events. The postholder will drive income growth through strategic planning, team leadership, supporter experience, and cross-team collaboration.
The hospice needs an experienced senior fundraiser with a strong track record in at least two key areas of relationship fundraising such as major giving, corporate partnerships, or trusts and foundations. You’ll be a strategic thinker, confident communicator, and inspiring team leader, with experience of growing income through excellent stewardship and innovation. Strong planning, budgeting, and relationship-building skills are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively and lead with purpose.
