Through science-led conservation action, community engagement, and practical habitat recovery, the organisation are committed to creating a wilder, more resilient future.

The Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving the successful delivery of our organisational strategy and ensuring the charity operates efficiently, effectively and sustainably. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Operations Manager will lead on organisational performance, governance, process improvement, and resource management – improving internal processes and strengthening cross-department coordination.

The post will line manage a team delivering HR, Finance, IT, H&S and Facilities operations (some outsourced). Working closely with the CEO and Board to lead and deliver the organisational strategic plan, translating priorities into operational action. The role holder will also provide leadership across the organisation on business planning, performance monitoring, and change management.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a varied role, with the ability to “roll their sleeves” up regularly, and to manage multiple projects and priorities. Experience of working within a charity setting or environmental setting would be beneficial. You will also hold a strong track record in organisational development, business planning, and delivering operational excellence with experience of managing cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, governance, facilities, and project delivery.
