Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading science and research organisation to recruit a Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, focusing on Social Impact and Community Engagement. This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal, high-impact role shaping the community fabric of a major development from the ground up.

Working on site in Cambridgeshire, you will have the platform to translate strategy into tangible outcomes particularly in employability, access to opportunity and community engagement. You’ll play a central role in ensuring local people benefit directly from the organisation’s growth, building partnerships, creating pathways into work, and establishing initiatives that have lasting social and economic value.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You will develop and lead a practical social impact and employability strategy, while taking ownership of initiatives currently delivered across multiple functions. Working closely with planning, development and communications colleagues, you will help shape and deliver against complex funding arrangements, engage with local authorities and key stakeholders, and act as a visible ambassador for the campus.

From attending council meetings to developing programmes and partnerships, this is a role that requires both credibility at senior level and the ability to make things happen on the ground. The successful candidate will bring experience of delivering community impact and socio-economic initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, alongside the confidence to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

You will be a strong relationship builder, comfortable navigating ambiguity and influence, and motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful community impact. Backgrounds may vary, from development, local authority, consultancy or the social impact sector. You will however share a practical, delivery-focused mindset and the ability to bring clarity, energy and momentum to a broad and evolving brief.

To be considered for this role, please apply with your CV and a cover letter, detailing your achievements within the space of social impact and community engagement with local not-for-profit organisations.

As a specialist Recruitment Practice, Prospectus is committed to building inclusive and diverse organisations, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community. We invest in your journey as a candidate and are here to support you throughout the process.
