A fast-growing maritime clean tech company developing wind-assisted propulsion systems used across global shipping is looking for a Senior Design Engineer.

The Opportunity

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own mechanical design of key subsystems
  • Take products from concept to design to manufacturing
  • Produce 3D CAD models, drawings, and calculations
  • Improve manufacturability, cost, and performance
  • Work closely with international suppliers (including China)
  • Solve real-world engineering problems on hardware
  • Support and mentor junior engineers

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical / Structural / Marine Engineering
  • 5-10 years experience in mechanical design
  • Strong 3D CAD skills (NX, Inventor or similar)
  • Experience with fabrication, welding, and large structures
  • Strong understanding of DFMA (Design for Manufacture & Assembly)
  • Proven track record delivering designs into production

Bonus Points

  • Marine / offshore / wind industry experience
  • Knowledge of DNV / LR certification
  • Experience with structural testing
  • Mandarin language skills
