Shape trust and confidence in regulated financial services On the Extended Assurance Graduate Programme, you’ll shape the future with confidence by helping financial services organisations manage risk, meet regulatory expectations and strengthen trust. You’ll work in high performing teams on assurance and advisory engagements, using data, technology and professional judgement to deliver insights clients can rely on. As a Shaper of the future, you’ll build your potential while making a real impact for clients and society.

What you will be doing

  • Work on assurance and advisory engagements across regulated financial services, helping clients manage risk and meet regulatory expectations
  • Analyse risks, controls and data to identify issues and deliver clear, well evidenced insights
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary EY teams and engage with clients and stakeholders
  • Develop your skills through structured learning, coaching and professional qualifications alongside real world experience
  • Analytical thinking – evaluating data, evidence and control environments to form robust assurance conclusions
  • Integrity – exercising judgement and accountability where regulatory trust and public interest matter
  • Ownership and accountability – taking responsibility for outcomes and driving work forward in complex engagements
  • Collaboration – working in inclusive teams and clearly explaining risks and findings to clients
  • Adaptability – responding confidently as regulations, priorities and client needs evolve

Empower diversity. Be proud of who you are. Make an influential difference. We live in a diverse world, so building a diverse and inclusive firm, where everyone feels they belong and can achieve their potential, matters profoundly to us. This is why we’ve created programmes like this, to ensure everyone is made aware of the work we do and given an equal opportunity to work with us. We’re committed to building a culture of belonging and as such we are focused on doubling the proportion of female and Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) talent in the UK partnership to 40% female and 20% BME by July 2025 – plus, we commit 15% of our BAME target to be Black Partners. We promise to be a voice and force for change, both within our organisation and beyond. Let’s focus on the future of work, together.
