What You'll Do
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health & safety responsibility
- Rotation of stock
- Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
- Data entry relating to medication
- Labelling and dispensing
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Working within a team environment
- Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals
- Completion of apprenticeship work on time
- Training Outcome: Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
