What You’ll Do
As Senior Community & Events Manager, you will oversee our community-based fundraising and events portfolio, driving vital income through inspiring, supporter-led activity. Leading a talented fundraising team, you will set the direction for all community fundraising activities and events. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality flagship experiences, taking full ownership of budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure strong return on investment. Alongside this, you will expand community fundraising across groups, schools, workplaces and associations, strengthening local connections and inspiring wider participation in support of our work.
Additionally, you will:
- Act as a senior ambassador, both internally and externally
- Deputise for the Head of Relationship Fundraising and contribute to wider strategic planning
What You’ll Bring
To be considered as a Senior Community & Events Manager, you will need:
- Significant experience delivering successful community and/or events fundraising programmes
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Strong financial acumen, including budgets, forecasting and analysis
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Creativity, resilience and a passion for supporter experience
- A full, valid driving licence
