Join our friendly and supportive Inpatient Unit team, providing outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to patients and families when they need it most. We're looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant with experience in healthcare, care homes, hospitals or community care who is passionate about delivering person-centred care. Our highly skilled team provides exceptional care, and in our latest staff survey, 98% of colleagues said their work has meaning and purpose.
Hours: 36 hours per week over 7 days (predominantly nights with occasional day shifts). Part-time hours considered.
Salary: £25,517 - £26,220 (FTE) per year
What is the role? As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support the delivery of compassionate, individualised care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, helping to maintain comfort, dignity and quality of life. Working closely with our nursing and multidisciplinary teams, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care.
- Follow personalised care plans and report changes in patients' conditions.
- Support patients and families with empathy and sensitivity.
- Help maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding care.

Do you have?
