The Opportunity
We are representing a well-established and rapidly expanding small animal practice seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in surgery. This is an excellent chance to step into a senior role, support clinical leadership, and help guide the veterinary team while continuing to develop your own surgical skills. The position offers a predominantly surgical caseload while still incorporating consultations and the full variety of general practice duties. Flexible working options, including part-time arrangements, can be considered.

About the practice
This progressive small animal clinic was established in 2009 and has recently relocated to a brand-new, purpose-built facility spanning 4,500 sq ft. The practice has doubled in size and invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- On-site CT scanner
- Rehabilitation centre with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy
- Dental radiography suite
- 7 consult rooms
- 2 surgical theatres
- Diagnostic imaging & ultrasound suite
- Internal laboratory
- Gold-standard hospital wards
You'll join a team currently consisting of 3 Vets, 6 RVNs, a physiotherapist and 6 Client Care Advisors. The caseload is varied, with the majority of procedures kept in-house, and the practice actively encourages certificates and clinical special interests.
Working Pattern & Benefits
- Full-time or part-time options available
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am-12pm)
- No OOH, Sundays or Bank Holidays
