An outstanding fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to cover maternity leave at a highly regarded, independent small animal practice nestled in a beautiful countryside setting, yet within easy reach of London.
You will join a welcoming, tightly-knit clinical team, filling in for approximately 12 months from November 2025 through to July 2026 with the opportunity for extension or permanent transition. Expect a four-day week covering Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (8:30am - 6:30pm), supplemented by one in three Saturday mornings (8:30am - 12:00pm), balanced with time off in lieu. No out-of-hours duties just a perfect work-life rhythm.
Your role will include a mix of consultations and surgical cases, managed in a well-equipped, first-opinion environment. The practice boasts modern facilities and a full clinical offering.
