A busy 24-hour RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in Wimbledon has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking greater responsibility within a hospital setting. This is a fantastic chance to take the next step in your career while working with a wide-ranging caseload, from routine procedures to emergency and critical care.

This full-time role is based on a 4-day week, with a 1:3 Saturday and 1:10 Sunday rotation, plus up to two bank holidays per year. There are no on-call requirements. The position offers a varied workload across consultations, surgeries, and wards, with additional responsibilities that include supporting junior colleagues and helping with the day-to-day running of the hospital floor. Leadership training is also available for those interested in developing management skills.

The hospital benefits from its own first-opinion client base while also acting as a referral centre for surrounding practices. Specialist support is available in orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, and physiotherapy. You'll be joining a large, supportive team of experienced vets, RVNs, trainees, and on-site clinical managers, all within a well-equipped, cat-friendly (ISFM Silver) environment.

Located in the heart of picturesque Wimbledon Village, the hospital is just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon station, with excellent transport links across London.
