Dispensing Optician / Manager opportunity in a modern Sandbach based Optometrist store. This is an exceptional role for a recently qualified or experienced Dispensing Optician to join a highly professional and future-focused family-run business near Sandbach, with an additional option for immediate access to a more managerial role from the outset if of interest to ambitious applicants!

The practice has accrued an enviable reputation as the opticians of choice in the area, boasting a loyal, generally more private and higher spend patient base. Additionally, the conscientious Directors of the business offer state-of-the-art facilities including OCT, iPads/tablets, auto focimeter, and pupillometer, as well as a diverse product range including high-end frames such as Mulberry and Versace, along with luxury lenses via Essilor and Zeiss.

You will join a vibrant team with countless years of experience in optics, working closely alongside the business owner to continue their ongoing success and have the opportunity to have real input on the longer-term service delivery/patient journey. A recent store refit means your working environment will be bright and modern.

Key Duties:
  • Available four or five days per week (five days preferred and five days essential if electing to undertake managerial responsibilities)
  • Able to work every Saturday (owners hope to offer one in four Saturdays off longer term, but this cannot be guaranteed currently)
  • Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with GOC
  • Available to work 9:00am-5:15pm with a 45-minute lunch
  • If applying to be considered for DO/Manager role, will need to be DO qualified and evidence previous managerial experience (i.e. 1-2 years minimum working as an Assistant Manager or Manager)
  • Have a real passion for your work and enjoy working in a vibrant patient-focused practice
