I am representing a rapidly growing, technology-led healthcare organisation seeking an experienced Superintendent Pharmacist to lead clinical governance, regulatory compliance and professional standards across a high-volume digital pharmacy operation.
This is a senior leadership opportunity where you will work closely with clinical and operational leadership, helping shape pharmacy strategy, governance, technology and future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical governance and professional standards across the pharmacy
- Ensure compliance with GPhC, MHRA and relevant regulations
- Oversee Controlled Drugs governance and record-keeping
- Lead and develop a large pharmacy team
- Maintain SOPs, systems and competency frameworks
- Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits
- Identify opportunities for technology, automation and operational improvements
- Support the development and expansion of pharmacy services
Essential Experience
- Current GPhC registration
- Previous Superintendent Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GPhC standards and pharmacy governance
- Experience with Controlled Drugs governance
- Experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment
- Regulatory inspection and audit experience
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Desirable: Online/digital pharmacy, private healthcare, medical cannabis, multi-site operations or pharmacy technology experience.

- £100,000-£110,000 salary
