An independent community pharmacy in Radlett is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join its friendly, experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacist seeking a positive working environment, with flexibility around working hours and employment arrangements.
The Role
You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the provision of NHS and professional pharmacy services.
The pharmacy dispenses approximately 8,000 items per month and uses ProScript as its dispensing system. You will be joining a well-staffed team with established locum support, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care.
Key Details
- Location: Radlett, Hertfordshire
- Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm; Saturday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Working pattern: Full-time, 4-5 days per week, or potentially 3 days per week for the right candidate
- Weekend commitment: Approximately 1 in 2 Saturdays
- Contract: Self-employed preferred, although alternative arrangements may be considered
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
About You
The pharmacy is open to Pharmacists with varying levels of experience, although around two or more years of experience would be advantageous.
Ideally, you will have:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Community pharmacy experience and a commitment to excellent patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of an established team.
- An Independent Prescriber qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
Above all, the pharmacy is looking for someone with the right personality who will integrate well with the existing team and contribute positively to the working environment.
