An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a proudly independent, single-site practice with a fantastic reputation for providing high-quality, personalised care. This is a close-knit and supportive team with a loyal client base and a highly experienced nursing team. The practice has invested consistently over the years, ensuring modern facilities and excellent standards of care, while maintaining a friendly, family feel.
The practice is set in a beautiful location with great facilities, ample free parking, and a loyal client community. The role is part-time, averaging 23-30 hours per week, with Mondays and Fridays 8:30-6:30, Thursday mornings, and a 1:3 or 1:4 Saturday rota (9-12). Consults are booked in 15-minute slots, with a healthy 50/50 mix of consulting and surgery. Sole charge is minimal, usually limited to Saturday mornings or occasional cover. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours responsibilities.
The practice can offer a salary of up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience, with CPD fully supported including certificates if desired. You will benefit from generous holiday allowance, a workplace pension, and free onsite parking.
This position would suit a vet with a couple of years' experience who enjoys a varied caseload and is confident with a small amount of sole charge.
