A fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician or ACT to join a friendly and successful independent online pharmacy in Milton Keynes. Seeking a friendly and organised Pharmacy Dispenser with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Building relationships with your customers is key and you’ll play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs and providing a supporting service to aid the Pharmacist in the dispensary. Key Duties Carry out final checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the company’s standard operating procedures (SOPs). Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is carrying out their duties correctly. Liaising with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care. Ensure that Patient Medication Records (PMR’s) are maintained accurately to ensure patient safety whilst complying with current data protection requirements. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals, product information and training resources.
