A brand new opportunity has recently come up to join a leading clinical independent practice based near Maidstone on a full or part time basis with flexible shift patterns. Renowned for their clinical excellence, this Opticians has regularly been in the news for outstanding levels of clinical service as well as patient care. This Opticians prides themselves on offering highly clinical services including specialist contact lens services, macular degeneration, some hospital clinics to name a few which you as an Optometrist can get involved in. This practice is also happy to offer training on these specialist services and to support with any extra qualifications you might be interested in.
Equipped with the latest equipment including a 4D OCT scanner, phoropters and extended test times of 45/50 minutes, this practice enables higher levels of patient care to recognise and diagnose the most difficult to identify eye problems. Operating three clinics, this role is suitable for all levels of experience including newly qualified Optometrists due to the highly supportive work environment and support from other experienced, qualified staff.
Key Duties:- Testing eyes to 45/50 minute test times with pre-screening completed beforehand
- Available to work a minimum of 2 days a week including some Saturdays
- General working hours are 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday with an early finish of 5pm on Saturdays
- Many prospects to develop your clinical skills with the practice involved in many specialist services
- Operating 3 clinics a day
