Key Duties

  • Conducting thorough eye examinations to the highest clinical standards
  • Advising patients on their vision care needs, including prescribing glasses or contact lenses
  • Participating in and contributing to specialist clinics, such as Myopia Control
  • Supporting patients with general eye health concerns and referring when necessary
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Working closely with dispensing opticians and support staff to deliver a seamless patient experience
  • Ensuring compliance with all GOC and NHS regulations and standards

Package and Benefits

  • Salary £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • GOC fees paid

  • 30-minute testing times to ensure quality care
  • Currently single testing, so confidence and independence are key
  • Plans in place for double testing in the near future

  • Looking for 3-4 days per week, but full-time may be accommodated across multiple sites
