This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in logistics, warehousing, and distribution management, looking to take the next step in their career and make a significant impact within a fast‑paced and innovative environment. As the Process Improvement SME, you will play a key role in optimizing logistics operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain. You will also support the implementation of strategic initiatives to meet performance targets, improve quality control, and streamline business processes for automation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Controls & Performance Monitoring: Monitor and improve processes using the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, ensuring performance targets are consistently met.
- Process Improvements: Analyse and optimise warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Provide data‑driven recommendations for process enhancements.
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee storage, shipping, and receiving processes, addressing complex issues, performing root‑cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- System & IT Support: Act as a superuser for ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), contribute to IT‑related projects, and support process testing.
- Project Management: Advise on project timelines, risks, and opportunities, assist in business integration, and ensure scalability for future growth and new products.
- KPI Management: Support the development and maintenance of performance indicators and reports to monitor system efficiency and track progress.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution management, with strong exposure to process improvement and project management.
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (for process improvement) and Project Management (PMP or similar). ERP system training (SAP, Oracle).
- Skills: Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and operations, with a focus on optimisation, capacity planning, and efficiency.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the Medical Devices industry (ISO 13485) is highly desirable but not essential.
