Community Pharmacist opportunity with a supportive team, for a maternity fixed term, with the potential to lead to a permanent position.

Our client is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join their established community pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high quality patient care and providing a broad range of clinical and pharmacy services within a community setting.

The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced and supportive pharmacy team, playing a key role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care. This position is offered as maternity cover, with the potential for extension for the right candidate. A flexible start date is available.

PMR: Proscript. Full pack barcode checking technology & Offsite MDS hub, freeing up time in branch for pharmacist to focus on patients.

Opening Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri: 9:00am - 5:30pm | Wed & Sat: 9:00am - 1:00pm. Candidate will work Wk1: Mon-Fri; Wk2: Mon-Sat

Key Duties:

  • Conduct clinical checks on dispensed prescriptions to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide professional advice and support to patients, both in person and via telephone.
  • Assist with stock management, inventory control and general pharmacy administration.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians and the wider pharmacy team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Deliver a range of NHS and private healthcare services, with training provided where required.

Package and Benefits:

  • Fixed Term (9 months) contract: £48,000p/a - £60,000p/a
  • 5 weeks holiday + BH (6.6 weeks) Pro Rata
  • Progression to perm position for the right candidate

  • MUST be a qualified Pharmacist in the UK
  • MUST have GPhC Registration
  • No sponsorship available
