A fantastic, locally owned Independent Practice in North Manchester is looking to add an additional Vet to their team. Are you looking for a role that will support your development offering up to £90,000 (FTE, DOE)? Vets for Pets Middleton have a fantastic opportunity for an additional vet to join our team. The practice has been open for over 11 years and we have a large, bonded client base which provides a varied case load for our busy first opinion practice.
Up to £90,000 per year (DoE, FTE)
- Permanent Full or Part Time (30 - 40 hours per week)

- Certificates will be supported, and specialist equipment can be purchased to allow you to shape the treatments you can offer
- No Sundays or bank holidays
- This will include 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (9am to 12pm)

The practice is independently run, by Dan our Practice Owner, supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real proud to be part of the teamwork ethos. The team are supportive and really like to push each other to achieve their career goals, so as you would expect CPD, and certificates are highly encouraged.
In practice we carry out both routine and non-routine surgical procedures including orthopaedics and most soft tissue surgery; examples include thyroidectomy, reconstructive surgery, anal gland removal and cystotomy. We also have a dedicated in-house lab, digital x-ray machine, dental machine, and ultrasound machine.
Middleton is located on the North side of Manchester only 30 minutes outside of the city centre and is easily accessible via buses and trains to Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Manchester so is perfect for people wanting access to city living without the cost! However, if the countryside is your way of relaxing, then the nearby Heaton Park and Alkrington Nature Reserve are under 10 minutes from the practice. For commuting routes, the practice is also under 10 minutes from the M60 which provides the ideal commuting journey for those coming from further afield.
About you: Dan, our practice owner, has over 16 years of experience, and he is supported by another experienced vet in practice to provide a service to our clients every Monday-Saturday. We are looking for an experienced vet to join the team to help provide a service to our colleagues which would allow us to increase our surgery days in practice.
You will ideally be comfortable in both consults and surgery as sole charge is something that will be required on occasion. Enthusiasm and passion for what you do is essential as well as providing an excellent and comprehensive service to all clients and patients.
We would be delighted for you to join the team, and you would be supported by the current colleagues which include our vets, Head RVN, RVN, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, and our non-clinical team which includes a Practice Manager, Head Receptionist and 2 Receptionists.
