We're working with a well-established, independently run small animal group in London that is looking to welcome an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to their growing team. This is a part-time opportunity (3 days / 24 hours per week), ideal for a confident vet who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working within a supportive, well-resourced environment.

The Role

  • First opinion small animal role across two nearby clinics
  • Mix of consults and surgery with a healthy 50/50 split
  • 15 - 20 minute consults allowing time to work cases properly
  • Some sole charge work at the smaller site (confidence essential)
  • 1:3 Saturday rota, no routine out-of-hours
  • Opportunity to get involved in orthopaedics, with access to a visiting cardiologist
  • Flexible approach to clinical interests and case load

  • Small Animal Vet with 3+ years' UK experience
  • Confident working independently when required
  • Comfortable covering more than one site
  • No certificates required, but certificate support available
  • A team-focused vet who values quality care and good work-life balance (New graduates won’t be considered for this role due to the level of autonomy required.)

  • One larger, busy clinic with extended opening hours (8am-8pm)
  • One smaller clinic operating 9am-6pm, typically sole charge
  • Team of 9 vets and 4 nurses, with strong internal support
  • First opinion focus with good facilities and visiting specialists
  • Well connected by public transport (no onsite parking)
