Key Duties:

  • Collaborate effectively with the wider team to ensure the best patient care and maintain the clinic's high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and strong relationships with patients and team members.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental best practices and maintain patient records.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health.
  • Diagnose and assess alignment problems, bite issues, and structural concerns in both adults and children.
  • Provide orthodontic treatments such as fitting retainers, placing spacers, and applying bands to teeth; fit, adjust, and monitor braces and other orthodontic appliances.
  • Monitor and track patient progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
  • Valid UK dental license with eligibility for Australian registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated working visas (with support from the client).
  • Relevant specialist qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia.
  • Experienced periodontist with strong experience in periodontics.
