A well-established independent veterinary practice in Horley is seeking a Full-Time Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident small-animal vet who values high-quality patient care, collaborative working, and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • The role is full-time (40 hours per week) across 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays worked (8am-4pm) and a weekday given in lieu.
  • You will enjoy a mix of consultation and surgery days, working alongside experienced vets, nurses, and support staff.
  • There is no OOH or on-call responsibility.
  • You will have access to advanced equipment including laser therapy, ultrasound (cardiac and linear probes), dental X-ray, wireless X-ray plate, and video otoscope.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will be RCVS-registered, with at least 3 years' small-animal experience, confident in routine surgery and consultations, and passionate about animal welfare and client care.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach are essential, while Vet GDP advisor experience is a bonus.
