This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified pharmacist or an experienced pharmacist looking for a new challenge with a fantastic independent business. Based in the Scottish Borders, this efficiently‑run independent business near Hawick is looking to extend a warm welcome to an enthusiastic Pharmacist, to join their excellent team made up of a FT Store Manager, FT technician and trainee dispensers. The successful candidate will be coming into an established business, and will be expected to provide clinical services as well as other Pharmacist duties. Therefore, being an IP would be an advantage, but not essential. Full support to become an IP in the future, with DPP's already on hand within the company. Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm = 45 hrs p/w. (Option for extra hours on a weekend if needed)
Key Duties- Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing medication needs and ensuring safe administration of prescriptions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with GPhC regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to address medication‑related inquiries
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure the availability of medications
- Utilise knowledge of anatomy to educate patients on medication effects and interactions
- Lucrative salary from £25p/hr - £30p/hr
- Generous IP bonus on top of an excellent basic salary
