We're working with a thriving, independent small animal practice in Guildford that's looking to expand their team with the addition of a Veterinary Surgeon. This modern, purpose-built clinic has grown steadily year-on-year since opening and has earned a strong reputation locally thanks to its high standard of care and genuinely supportive working environment.
You'll be joining a close-knit team made up of three full-time vets, a part-time vet, and a highly experienced nursing and reception team. The practice offers a broad mix of consulting and surgery and can tailor the caseload depending on your preferences. Consults are typically 15 minutes, with 30 minutes allocated for second opinions and post-op reviews.
This is a full or part-time role (30-40 hours per week), with a 1 in 4 weekend rota that includes on-call. However, you'll be given a day off the following week to ensure balance is maintained. There's no midweek OOH work, and the team prides itself on working efficiently without compromising on care.
The practice is independently owned and values team development; support for certificates is available, and everyone is encouraged to progress at their own pace. With a loyal and growing client base, the clinic sees a wide range of cases and is ideally suited to a vet with at least 2 years of experience looking to broaden their clinical exposure in a modern, forward-thinking environment.
The role offers a salary of up to Β£65,000 DOE, plus CPD support, onsite parking, and the opportunity to work in one of Surrey's most desirable areas. If you're after a role where you're truly part of the journey, this one is worth exploring.
