Prospect Health are proud to be working with a well-established, independent veterinary group in Kent, currently seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive practice with hospital-level facilities, a strong surgical caseload, and continued growth plans including the opening of an additional branch.
The Role
- This position is ideal for a vet with a passion for surgery and/or dentistry, looking to work in a supportive environment with access to advanced equipment and a varied caseload.
- Full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Primarily based within a well-equipped veterinary hospital.
- Some sole charge responsibilities at branch level during weekend shifts.
- Opportunity to handle a high level of surgical cases.
- Support available for further development, including certificates.
Working Pattern:
- 5-day week.
- Approximately 5 full weekends per year.
- Additional 5 Saturdays per year.
- Occasional overnight on-call (1 to 2 times annually).
The Practice
You'll be joining a respected independent group consisting of a central veterinary hospital and three established branches, with a fourth opening soon. The practice is well-equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical facilities, including a CT scanner, enabling a high standard of clinical care. The wider team includes 16 Veterinary Surgeons and 20 Veterinary Nurses. The group is known for its collaborative culture, clinical standards, and investment in both people and equipment.

- Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon.
