Non Pharmacist Manager role in Gloucester - Must have managerial experience.

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £35,000 per annum (approx. £18 per hour)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 plus ROTA weekends

Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Non-Pharmacist Manager to lead a busy independent pharmacy in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing both people and processes. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 23,000 - 24,000 items per month and is supported by robotic dispensing (Titan system), allowing for efficient workflow and a focus on team leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team to ensure high performance
  • Ensure smooth dispensing processes and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards
  • Manage staffing, rotas, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company procedures
  • Work closely with the pharmacist and wider team to deliver safe and effective services

Requirements

  • Proven management experience (essential)
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Dispensing experience
  • Pharmacy Technician qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working within a community pharmacy setting
  • Familiarity with Titan or automated dispensing systems
