An exciting opportunity has become available within a well-established, independent small animal practice that is entering a significant period of growth. The practice has recently expanded into neighbouring premises, effectively doubling its floor space, with additional consult rooms and new theatres currently being installed. This is a modern, first-opinion environment with a large and loyal client base, reflected by a consistently busy diary and a substantial waiting list.

The team has a strong reputation locally and places real emphasis on delivering high-quality care without compromising work-life balance. The role would suit an experienced small animal vet (2+ years) who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. The practice offers full-time or part-time options, with full-time hours worked over four days. There is no out-of-hours, and Saturday mornings are worked on a 1 in 4 rota, always with two vets on duty, so no sole charge.

Facilities include digital X-ray and ultrasound, with further investment underway in endoscopy. You will be well supported by an experienced nursing team and dedicated client care staff, allowing you to focus on clinical work rather than administrative pressures. Appointment lengths are 15 minutes, and the split between consults and surgery can be shaped around your individual strengths and interests.

The package includes a competitive salary up to £65,000 DOE, with CPD and certificate support actively encouraged. The culture is flexible, understanding and people-focused, making this an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to settle into a long-term role within an independent practice that genuinely values its team.
