Are you a Pharmacist passionate about delivering high quality clinical services and making full use of your Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification? This opportunity in Glenrothes could be the perfect fit. This well-established client operates across multiple locations in Scotland and is committed to providing exceptional healthcare to the local community. This role focuses on patient care, supported by checkers and centralised dispensing, giving you more time to deliver clinical services. You will have the chance to lead on Pharmacy First Plus, dedicating your expertise to enhanced care, with an additional supplement for being an IP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescribe medications within the legal framework and professional guidelines, ensuring treatments are safe, effective, and appropriate.
  • Make informed decisions on drug therapies, considering patient preferences, allergies, comorbidities, and concurrent medications.
  • Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed to optimise patient health.

Package & Benefits

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, alternate Saturdays 9am-5pm (average 44.5 hrs/week)
  • Salary: £56,500 per annum + IP supplement, with review at 6 months based on KPIs
  • Holidays: 4 weeks + bank holidays

Essential Requirements

  • GPhC-registered Pharmacist
  • Independent Prescriber qualification (or awaiting annotation)
  • Tier 2 Visa available
