Experienced Small Animal Vet – Part-Time | Up to £65,000 DOE | No OOH | Strong Clinical Autonomy
An established small animal practice is looking to welcome a dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeon to their friendly and supportive team. This position has become available due to the current postholder moving on to pursue their own practice venture. With a strong and growing caseload, this modern, stand-alone clinic has been serving the local community for over a decade. The practice offers a first opinion service and has built a loyal client base over the years. It\\\’s well-equipped with modern facilities including ultrasound and dedicated dental equipment, with a particular focus on dentistry.
The Role
- Part-time role (approx. 20 hours per week, flexible for the right candidate)
- Sole charge required one day per week
- No out-of-hours or weekend commitments
- Consultations are 20 minutes (10 minutes for boosters)
- Dedicated time for admin and case management, including daily scheduled buffer slots
- Clinical autonomy is encouraged and supported
What They\\\’re Looking For
- A small animal vet with at least 5 years\\\’ experience
- Confident working independently and managing a full caseload
- Comfortable with sole charge when needed
- Interest in dentistry is a plus

- Single-site, stand-alone small animal clinic
- Free on-site parking
- Located in a well-connected area with good transport links
- Recently refurbished with modern, functional clinical spaces
- Plans for future weekend openings, but not in the near term
The Package
- Salary up to £65,000 DOE
- Generous CPD allowance with certificate funding encouraged
- No weekends or OOH
