A fantastic independent practice in East Grinstead is looking for a Small Animal Vet to join their team.
A well-regarded independent veterinary group in the East Grinstead area is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The role has become available due to a colleague relocating abroad, and the practice is keen to ensure a smooth handover.
You’ll be joining a supportive, experienced multi-vet team within a group of four practices located close together. The East Grinstead site offers a varied caseload with a balanced mix of consultations and surgery (typically around 50 / 50). Consults are 15 minutes as standard, with longer appointments for more complex cases. Sole charge is very rare, even at weekends.
The ideal candidate will have around 25+ years’ experience, though there is flexibility for someone earlier in their career who is confident in first opinion work. The practice can consider full-time (40 hours) or part-time, with a minimum of two set days including Monday and Friday, and the rota includes 1 in 6 Saturdays (approx. 8 hours).
This is a forward-thinking environment with excellent equipment including ultrasound, ECG and laparoscopic kit, and a CT scanner being installed at a nearby sister site. The wider clinical team includes around nine vets and fourteen nurses, supported by dedicated reception and admin teams. Onsite parking is available.
If you’re looking for an independent practice that values clinical autonomy, development and teamwork, I’d be happy to share more details or arrange a confidential conversation.
