An established, multi-site mixed veterinary practice primarily based in Dundee is looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and supportive team. This role offers a genuinely varied caseload, combining equine, farm and small animal work within a progressive and well-structured environment. The position is full-time and provides strong clinical support, making it suitable for experienced mixed vets as well as exceptional new or recent graduates with a genuine interest in mixed practice and a desire to develop skills across disciplines.
Youβll work as part of a dedicated equine and farm team within a larger mixed practice, benefiting from close collaboration, mentoring and shared expertise. The on-call rota is evenly shared and designed with wellbeing in mind, including protected rest time following nights, a weekly half day, and time off after weekend duties. Out-of-hours calls are supported by a phone service and lone worker safety systems.
The practice is well equipped to support high-quality mixed practice, with in-house laboratory facilities, equine stabling and stocks, and a comprehensive range of ambulatory and diagnostic equipment including mobile digital X-ray, ultrasound, respiratory scope and fertility testing tools. Visiting specialists are also available, allowing many cases to be managed in-house.
