An established and community-focused pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist Manager to lead its team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacist who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and building strong relationships within the local healthcare network.
The Role
As Pharmacist Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the safe, effective, and compliant running of the pharmacy. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring the highest standards of dispensing and patient-centred services while developing strong relationships with local GPs, healthcare professionals, and the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe and legal supply of medicines in line with regulatory requirements
- Delivering high-quality dispensing and clinical services
- Providing and expanding service-led offerings such as:
- Flu vaccinations
- Pharmacy First services (including Minor Ailments and NMS)
- Contraceptive services
- Managing and developing the pharmacy team through a hands-on leadership approach
- Maintaining excellent customer service and patient care standards
- Identifying opportunities to grow services and enhance patient outcomes
Candidate Requirements:
- GPhC registered Pharmacist (or eligible/Provisional Pharmacist)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- A proactive, enthusiastic approach with a drive to succeed
- Commitment to delivering exceptional professional and clinical standards
- Passion for community pharmacy and service development
