We are working with a modern, recently refurbished small animal practice in Cannock to recruit a dedicated veterinary surgeon. This is an exciting opportunity for newly qualified or experienced vets looking to grow their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the Role

  • Full or part-time: 20-40 hours per week, flexible for a 4 or 5 day week.
  • Weekend rota: 1 in 4.
  • Occasional sole-charge days.
  • Work alongside a strong clinical team with interests in surgery, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedics.
  • Sick pets, initial vaccinations, and boosters have 20 minute appointments, allowing ample time for thorough examinations and documentation.
  • Flexible focus: more consult-focused or theatre focused, tailored to your skills and interests.
  • Supported by an experienced nurse team who run their own clinics, allowing vets to focus on cases.
