Pharmacist/Manager opportunity in Cambridgeshire - No VISA available

- Contract Type: Self-Employed Preferred (Full-Time) IRO £28 per hour
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Dispensed Items: 6,500 per month
- PMR System: Proscript
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Pharmacist/Manager to join our team. We provide a wide range of private and NHS services and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our pharmacy and manage day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, managing a small team of 2 dispensers and 1 counter assistant.
- Dispense medications and ensure accurate and efficient processing of prescriptions.
- Provide excellent customer service, offering professional advice on health‑related queries.
- Manage and maintain stock levels, ensuring medication and supplies are readily available.
- Ensure all NHS and private services are delivered to a high standard, including:
- Private Services: Weight Loss, Travel Clinic, Antimalarials, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Dossette Box.
- NHS Services: Sharps Disposal, Palliative Care, Repeat Prescriptions, Morning After Pill, NMS, Supervised Consumption, Unwanted Medicine Disposal, Free Health Advice, Pharmacy First Service, Delivery Service, Community Dosage Service.
- Oversee the efficient running of the pharmacy, ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance with regulations, and overall service delivery.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with valid GPhC registration
- Previous experience in community pharmacy is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate a small team
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for patient care
- Experience with Proscript PMR system (preferred)
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of the pharmacy's operations
- The role is self‑employed; candidates with no visa requirement are preferred
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 18:00
- 45 hours per week (must be flexible for occasional changes).
