A well-established, community-focused pharmacy in Caernarfon is currently looking to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist to its team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care, the pharmacy is dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of its local community. The branch is supported by a knowledgeable team, including an ACT Non-Pharmacist Manager, and is situated on the southern bank of the Menai Strait facing the Isle of Anglesey. Dispensing approximately 13,000 items each month, the pharmacy benefits from the use of an automated dispensing robot, which streamlines operations and allows pharmacists to focus on providing exceptional patient care.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 - 18.30 and 1 in 4 Saturdays 09.00 - 18.00. INCREASED HOURLY RATE in addition to stated salary for IP qualified.
Key Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.
- Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
