Work within a well-structured and forward-thinking training Practice and become part of an organised multi-disciplinary team. Working at this innovative surgery as a Salaried GP you will manage acute presentations of patients whilst delivering the highest standards of care. Strong emphasis on work-life balance and support for professional development and special interest areas provides for a strong foundation for high-quality place-based care. The practice fosters a strong ethos of mutual support with regular team meetings to discuss clinical cases alongside structured educational meetings.

Key Duties:

  • Work autonomously within job plan as a Salaried GP includes both face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries paperwork and correspondence whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the practice.
  • Actioning shared blood test results and incoming clinical documents.
  • Assessing health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Screening of patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
  • Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients.
  • Recording of clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
  • Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing protocol where clinically appropriate.
