Pharmacist Manager position in Brighton
We are seeking an experienced, ambitious and business-minded Pharmacist Manager to join an independent community pharmacy in a fantastic high-street location with sea views.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking pharmacist who wants to play a key role in developing and growing the pharmacy.
The branch currently dispenses around 10,50011,000 items per month, with an ambitious target to grow this to approximately 12,000 items within the first year.
The Opportunity
- Two GP surgeries within walking distance
- A prominent high-street location with sea views
- Approximately 15 minutes from the local train station
- An established team of four dispensing staff
- Around 100 monitored dosage systems (Dossettes) per month
- An established range of NHS and private services
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and expand existing services, particularly the pharmacy's weight-loss offering, alongside Pharmacy First and travel vaccination services.
About You
We are looking for a hard-working, forward-thinking and commercially minded pharmacist who is keen to make a genuine impact on the future growth of the pharmacy.
You will ideally have
- Several years' post-qualification experience
- Previous pharmacy management experience
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- A business-minded and entrepreneurial approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A passion for developing pharmacy services and identifying new opportunities
- Good IT and technology skills
- The ability to work independently while leading and supporting the existing team
- Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification is highly desirable

The pharmacy currently operates on Analyst PMR, with the potential to discuss a move to Titan as part of future development.
- Hours & Salary
- Opening hours: Monday-Friday: 09:0018:00, Saturdays: 09:0013:00
The successful pharmacist will work 5 days per week, including alternate Saturdays.
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 basic salary, depending on experience, with the opportunity to earn up to £10,000 per annum in bonuses.
