Growing independent small animal practice in the Brentwood area looking to expand their veterinary team due to ongoing client growth.
Part-Time | 2030 Hours per Week | Up to £45,000 DOE | Growing, Modern Clinic
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a truly independent, purpose-built small animal practice owned and run by a Veterinary Nurse alongside a supportive leadership team. The clinic has been thoughtfully designed with space to grow and future plans to progress towards hospital status, including developing an in-house OOH service over the coming years.
The practice is currently a small and friendly team consisting of 1 Permanent Vet, a long-term locum Vet, and 4 Nurses, with a steadily growing client base. Consults are 15 minutes as standard, and the balance between surgery and consulting can be shaped around your strengths and interests.
Ideal candidate: a Small Animal Vet with around 3+ years' experience, confident in routine first-opinion work and comfortable working independently when needed. Newly qualified vets are not being considered at this stage.
Role details: The role is part-time, working 2030 hours across 23 days per week, with a proposed 1 in 4 weekend rota planned to be introduced soon (currently no weekend work in place). Certificate study can be supported in the future. The clinic is modern, spacious and purpose-built, offering room for the service to grow naturally and a real opportunity to be part of shaping that journey from an early stage. Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, plus full support for ongoing development.
