Key Duties
- Work autonomously within job plan as a Salaried GP, including both face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with queries, paperwork, and correspondence whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the practice.
- Actioning shared blood test results and incoming clinical documents.
- Assessing health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
- Screening of patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
- Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients.
- Recording of clear consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing protocol where clinically appropriate.
