Key Duties:
- Collaborate effectively with the wider team to ensure the best patient care and maintain the clinic's high standards of hygiene, professionalism, and strong relationships with patients and team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental best practices and maintain patient records.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health.
- Diagnose and assess alignment problems, bite issues, and structural concerns in both adults and children.
- Provide orthodontic treatments such as fitting retainers, placing spacers, and applying bands to teeth; fit, adjust, and monitor braces and other orthodontic appliances.
- Monitor and track patient progress.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Unrestricted APHRA specialist registration.
- Current professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).

- Relevant specialist qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia.
- Experienced periodontist with strong experience in periodontics.
