This friendly, semi‑rural surgery serves approximately 10,000 patients and is seeking a new GP to join their team. The surgery is housed in modern, purpose‑built facilities, offering a comfortable working environment with plenty of support from a dedicated team of clinical and administrative staff.

Why is This Vacancy Available?

The role exists to replace a long‑standing GP who is due to retire.

Practice Team

  • 7 GPs
  • 6 Practice Nurses
  • 1 HCA
  • Approx. 12 admin staff

Patient demographic: a mix of chronic conditions from the older generation and growing families from the area's ongoing regeneration.

What We Offer

  • Low home visits: visits are rare, typically 1‑2 per week.
  • 12‑15 patient contacts per session.
  • EMIS web.
  • Training & development: 1 week of study leave per year and ongoing CPD support.
  • Assessment process: 2‑stage informal and formal interview process with the Managing Partner and GP Partners.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Newly qualified GPs are welcome to apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Availability: 4‑8 sessions per week.
