An excellent opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established small animal clinic in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, in a consulting-focused role. The Role

Working Pattern

Part-time 20 hours per week, 4-day working week, 2 in 9 Saturdays (with time off in lieu). This structured rota supports a flexible and balanced working lifestyle.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a BVSc or equivalent veterinary degree recognised in the UK
  • Be RCVS registered (or eligible)
  • Be confident with consultations and routine medical cases
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work well within a team-focused environment
  • Have a proactive and compassionate approach to patient care

Salary & Benefits

Salary £40,000 - £55,000 (pro-rata, DOE), 6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays, funded CPD with support for further development, private healthcare (after qualifying period), enhanced maternity and paternity benefits, contributory pension scheme, RCVS and VDS fees paid, employee assistance programme and counselling support, cycle to work scheme, electric car scheme, retail and lifestyle discounts, staff discount and referral bonus scheme.
