Overview
Do you want to use your ACT skills in a pharmacy that values innovation and patient care? My client is looking for a motivated and experienced Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our friendly team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our growing range of NHS and community pharmacy services.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out final accuracy checks on prescriptions, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medicines. You will also contribute to the delivery of key clinical services, including BP checks, assisting with flu and COVID vaccinations, and supporting a range of advanced NHS services. You will work closely with the pharmacist to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary and will help to train and mentor other members of the pharmacy team.
Responsibilities
- Final accuracy checks on prescriptions to ensure safe and efficient dispensing.
- Contribute to the delivery of key clinical services, including BP checks, flu and COVID vaccination support, and a range of advanced NHS services.
- Work closely with the pharmacist to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary.
- Help train and mentor other members of the pharmacy team.
Hours
Monday β Friday 9am β 6pm = 45 hrs p/w
