My client, a leading supplier of composite components to F1, motorsport, automotive, aerospace, defence and marine requires an experienced composite trimmer for an urgent project. This is a contract role outside IR35.

Responsibilities:

  • Trimming, bonding and assembling carbon fibre components utilizing engineering drawings and build manuals
  • Checking information on drawings is clear
  • Checking route card instructions are correct
  • Help develop processes to improve quality and efficiency
  • Keep all equipment maintained
  • Meet delivery targets for customers while maintaining high quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a composite trimmer/fitter in the motorsport, automotive, aerospace or defence sectors
  • Strong background working with pre-preg materials
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
