Our client, a leading carbon fibre engineering company supplying components worldwide directly into Formula One, Motorsport, Aerospace and Defence customers, requires an experienced composite inspector to join its team in a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
Verify dimensional accuracy of parts, tools or Jigs to drawing/CAD used in the manufacturing process and communicate with internal manufacturing teams and external suppliers in a clear and concise manner.
Verify visual & aesthetic quality of carbon fibre and natural fibre composites.
Support Root cause analysis, with clear and thorough inspection feedback.
Support the Quality Manager in the efficient running of the QMS System.
Promote the companys quality ethos and proactively participate in initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience working in a composite manufacturing environment.
High attention to detail.
A driven, self-motivated individual with good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and composite layup tables and manuals.
Understand and compare product against visual standards.
Adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards.
Scanning arm experience.
