My client, a British manufacturer of iconic vehicles, requires an experienced Build Technician to join its team. The Build Technician will be responsible for the assembly and installation of components, including trim and final.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling and installing mechanical, body, interior and exterior trim components.
- Use a range of tools to manufacture or modify components.
- Work to detailed vehicle build specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Build Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive mechanics.
- A good knowledge and experience of all vehicle components and sub-structures, as well as the ability to undertake vehicle assembly tasks with minimum guidance.
- Ability to work using your own initiative as well as part of a small team.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
